Network Presentation

The Network of Experts in Cultural and Natural Heritage has been created within the framework of the Project Campus of International Excellence (CEI) in Cultural and Natural Heritage, jointly developed by the Universities of Cádiz (UCA), Córdoba (UCO), Granada (UGR), Huelva (UHU), the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), Jaén (UJA), Málaga (UMA) and Seville (USE).

These universities of Andalusia have got together strategically to become a European and International reference in the areas of knowledge related to Cultural and Natural Heritage, contributing towards the improvement of opportunities on training, research, innovation, job placement and quality of life of the people that study and work there, as well as encouraging the economic development of the territory where they are located, boosting the promotion of generation of economic activities relative to the already existing patrimonial resources.

To achieve these aims, the Board of Directors of the projects requires technical advice and aid specialised in the different scopes and academic fields that are part of the area of knowledge of Cultural and Natural Heritage, which guarantee the appropriate development of the different activities of the project and the achievement of the aims pursued.

The Network will act as an advisory body of the CEI at technical level, providing advice to the Board of Directors of the CEI in the execution of all its activities and, in particular, of those that intend to promote research, development and innovation in areas of knowledge related to Cultural and Natural Heritage, as well as the transfer of knowledge to the productive sector.
